G’day, I’m Makayla!

I’m the face both behind and on the blog! I’m an Australian blogger from rural, NSW, Australia and use this this platform to share all of my adventures, trips and tales.

I’ve lived as an expat on the other side of the globe and travelled across six continents. There’s something about racing for that next flight, getting lost in ancient cities and finding the courage to converse in a foreign language that makes me feel alive.

But despite being a travel bug, i’m also a big homebody who shares all things lifestyle, featuring my home, day to day and experiences as a local in my beautiful home town of Mudgee, Australia.

From 4x4ing in the Sahara desert, scuba diving the great barrier reef, eating my way through Italy and exploring local vino from the vineyards in my own backyard, you can find it all here, and hope to inspire others to do the same!
