There’s no shortage when it comes to cleaning products. In fact, I often found myself switching it up between multiple product lines every time I had to top up, but nothing really stuck with me – in all honesty I didn’t know you could fall in love with a cleaning product range. However, that all abruptly changed when I stumbled across Eco koala, an Australian company who pride themselves on their sustainable, natural and plant-based cleaning products that manage to outshine every other product that I have previously used in the house cleaning game.
To top it all off, the scents are IN-CRED-I-BLE! From mandarin and peppermint, to eucalyptus and lemon myrtle, their range brings the Aussie bush inside the home making your abode smell fresh, luxe and just downright amazing. While you can probably tell that I love this product, i’ve made this post to tell you why!
Why did I purchase Eco Koala products
Like many of us these days, I stumbled across an internet advertisement for Eco koala while browsing. At the time my husband was going through his cancer journey and being a nature and environment lover, the ethos of the brand had me clicking to find out more. i’m always wary about buzz words such as “nature” and “no toxins” that often result in greenwashing, however after researching the website, reviews and product ingredients, eco koala seemed to be legit…. and it was. I moved forward and purchased a few items, and the rest is history! I’ve found myself going back for more and more, slowly transitioning all of my household cleaning products into this range.
The products
Eco koala are known for their cleaning product range which includes the kitchen multi-purpose cleaner, bathroom-multipurpose cleaner, floor cleaner, stain remover, dishwashing and washing liquid, laundry wash, dishwashing liquid, and much more. You get the point… they have a product for every cleaning function around the home. Eco koala also have other ranges such as for the body and accessories which i’m looking forward to try when they restock.
Sustainable and aesthetically pleasing packaging
Eco-koala takes a sustainable and eco-friendly approach in everything from the ingredients to the packaging. All packaging such as the bottles and their sprays are made out of recycled plastics that can be again recycled or even reused by us! In the past I have used bottled that are “reusable” only for them to breakdown or lose function before even finishing the product. However, I have been used the kitchen and bathroom multi purpose bottles after 3 top ups and they’re still going strong! The plastic bottles are decorated with beautiful nature and botanical graphics that are appealing.
While spray and squirt bottles are sold as 500ml bottles, you can also purchase 1 litre refills that are 100% recyclable and minimise waste. Furthermore, if you can also purchase apothecary bottles that are designed to be long lasting, aesthetically pleasing and the ultimate waste reducer. Eco koala even donates a portion of their earnings to community based initiatives such as 1% to the planet, people and parks and the critters program.
They smell amazing
I’ve already touched on this as it is one of my favourite aspects of the Eco Koala range. Using Australian sourced products, eco koala aims to allow one to connect to nature through their products, enhancing mental, physical and mental wellbeing. The safe and toxin free fragrance is long lasting and smells authentic, because it is, a complete contrast on that artificial “citrus” that other cleaning brands use in their products. Another plus is the nature inspired scents linger around my home all day, earning me compliments from my visitors.
They work!
While having a great smelling, eco-friendly, ethical and aesthetically cleaning product is great, the true question is do the products actually work for cleaning? The answer is absolutely YES! My kitchen counter is shining, the wooden floors are streak free, the bathroom grout is white and my shower screen is pristine! Eco Koala is truly the ultimate household cleaning brand that everyone will love.
